Aisling is an Irish artist currently living in France. She studied Fine Art and Photography in Dublin and specialised in Photography in her final year.
She uses her camera to explore “the extraordinary in the ordinary.” Her work ranges from the obliquely abstract to the recognisable but always with an inherent wish to give the subject a new or second life.
Previous exhibitions have included “CODA,” a collection of discarded everyday items photographed in situ. Aisling has also had a number of pieces exhibited in The Sirius Art Centre, Ireland and several other venues in Cork. She was thrilled to be asked to produce a body of work for The Meanderer and endeavoured to provide a flavour of life on the beautiful French canals.
