- What inspired you to develop the idea for Barge Meanderer?
The inspiration for the Barge Meanderer came from the need for us to have one more adventure together before our retirement. We owned a restaurant previously and wanted to use our industry expertise to provide American travelers with a unique experience through our French barge cruises. It was also a wonderful way for us to offer the luxury of a barge cruise in France while being closer to our family that lives in Europe.
- What is your favorite part about owning a barge?
One of the best parts about owning the Barge Meanderer is the fact that we get to meet so many interesting guests during our French barge cruises. We always hear new stories and learn more about clients during their time on the Barge Meanderer. It’s also incredibly satisfying that we have built a fantastic barge cruise business which allows Americans to enjoy France in a one-of-a-kind way.
